FOR YOUR VISIT

Your first appointment may take from 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours.

Follow-up appointments typically take 30 to 45 minutes. 

Please do not bring more than one person with you. Children under the age of 12 years old are not permitted in the clinic unless he or she is the patient or interpreter.  The doctor & her staff will not look after, or be responsible for, children or personal property.  

Hands must be sanitized or washed upon entering the treatment room.

You must wear a face mask at all times if you feel sick, think that you may be sick, or are requested to wear one by the doctor.

We strongly advise not coming in on an empty stomach. We recommend that you eat something light at least 1 hour before your appointment.  Also, drink sufficient amounts of room temperature water before and after your visit.

Avoid brushing your tongue on the day of your visit, as well as, eating or drinking anything that will stain or color your tongue such as, coffee, tea, or candy, etc.
 
Wear loose comfortable clothing that will allow the doctor to access acupuncture points such as, sleeves and pant legs that may easily be rolled up above elbows and knees.
 
Please inform us of any conditions you may have, or medications or supplements that you are taking, that may cause you impairment or increase your levels of bleeding.  
It is important that you keep us informed of any changes regarding your health or medications. 
 

Do not come in for your appointment under the influence of ANY controlled or uncontrolled altering substance, including alcohol, marijuana, or narcotics, as it will compromise your session and be a safety hazard. 

If you require a walker, cane, or a personal attendant please bring them to assist you.

Cell phones & electronics MUST be COMPLETELY turned off as they will destroy certain treatment equipment and interfere with your and other patients’ treatment. Remember to turn your phone off upon arrival and on after leaving the clinic.
 
We do not permit photography or recordings of any kind.  
 
We reserve the right to refuse treating individuals who are under the influence of narcotics, marijuana, recreational drugs, alcohol, or cause a disturbance, damage property, or pose a physical or health threat to themself, our staff, patients or the building’s residents.
 

Payment is due at the time of your appointment or when placing an herbal remedy request.

Please bring a valid state picture ID to your first appointment.
